Bare Oaks in Irene, Pretoria is an exclusive, clothing-optional naturist getaway. Located within the Irene Security Village, it is affiliated with the Gauteng Naturist Association. It offers a private, secure retreat for guests to relax, swim, and socialize in the sun.
Because naturism is a lifestyle focused on body acceptance, guests are expected to embrace the environment. It operates differently than regular clothing-optional places. The core philosophy involves being nude in designated areas. You can think of it like a community that practices body acceptance and comfort. Clothing is only worn for warmth, safety, or protection from the sun.
